ADNOC Distribution gets license to operate in Saudi Arabia

ADNOC Distribution, the retailing arm of Abu Dhabi’s national oil company, said it has been awarded a license to own, operate and manage fuel service stations in Saudi Arabia.

 

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs (MOMRA), which regulates the Kingdom’s fuel station industry, issued the license during a signing ceremony in Riyadh on Sunday, the Abu Dhabi-listed firm said in a statement.

 

ADNOC Distribution had announced its plans to enter Saudi market last year.
