Saudi Arabia’s ministry of finance sold SAR 5 billion worth of domestic sukuk, after receiving bids for its sixth domestic sukuk issuance under the Saudi Arabian government SAR-denominated sukuk program.
The sukuk issuance was divided into three tranches: the first one valued at SAR 3.8 billion, maturing in 2023; the second tranche worth SAR 750 million, maturing in 2025; and the third was set at SAR 450 million, maturing in 2028, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Last month, the Kingdom sold SAR 4.85 billion ($1.29 billion) worth of domestic sukuk by reopening its monthly sale– originally launched in January, Argaam reported.
