The United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman and Qatar increased petrol and diesel prices for May 2018.
The UAE has the highest fuel prices for May among GCC countries, followed by Oman and Qatar. Kuwait recorded the lowest fuel prices among GCC states.
Saudi Arabia hiked retail gasoline and maintained diesel prices in the first quarter of 2018, as part of fiscal reforms to reduce state budget's dependence on crude oil revenue.
Bahrain has also revised prices of both types of retail gasoline for 2018.
