Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz Airport to begin trial run May 22

Jeddah’s new King Abdulaziz International Airport will start pilot operations on May 22, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

 

The airport, which is located 40 kilometers (km) to the northeast of Taif and 117 km from Makkah, is built on a total area of 48 million square meters and is expected to serve more than 6 million passengers annually in addition to 1.5 million pilgrims.
