Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries stood at $115.2 billion, a rise of $300 million month-on-month in March – the highest level since July 2015, new data released by the US Treasury showed.
The Kingdom maintained its 12th place among the largest holders of US debt in March. China and Japan topped the list with $1.19 trillion and $1.04 trillion, respectively.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) increased its holding by $1.7 billion to $59.2 billion in the same period. Kuwait also raised its holding to $36.9 billion, an increase of $0.6 billion.
