Here’s a list of royal decrees issued by King Salman

King Salman on Saturday issued a number of decrees to reshuffle the cabinet, which will include a ministry focused on culture as the Kingdom seeks to reach out to the world, showcase its culture and improve its image. The changes included adding a royal commission for Makkah and a new minister of Islamic Affairs.

 

Argaam has compiled a brief list of the latest decrees below:

 

1) Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud has been appointed as Minister of Culture.

 

2) Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi has been appointed as Minister of Labor and Social Development.

 

3) Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh was appointed as Minister of State and cabinet member. He was also appointed as member of the Security and Political Affairs Council.

 

4) Abdullatif Al-Sheikh was appointed as Minister of Islamic Affairs.

 

5) Abdullah Al-Saadan was named chief of Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.

 

6) Khalid bin Saleh Al-Sultan was named the President of King Abdullah City for Energy with the rank of Minister.

 

7) Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Qahtani was appointed as the Director of Hafar Al-Batin University at the excellent rank. Another decree relieved Abdulaziz Al-Suwayan from this position.

 

8) Khalid bin Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Mudayfar and Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Ali Al-Abdulkarim are appointed as Deputies of the Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, while Nasser bin Abdul Razzaq bin Yusuf Al Nafisi was named assistant minister. (Khalid Al-Falih remains as Minister of Energy).

 

9) Mohammed Bin Taweelah Al-Salami has been appointed as Assistant to the Minister of Civil Service at the excellent rank.

 

10) Badr bin Abdullah bin Mohanna Dulami has been named Deputy Minister of Transport for Roads Affairs, while Deputy Minister Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalab was relieved from his duties.

 

11) Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Daoud has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Interior with the rank of Minister.

 

12) Abdullah bin Salim al-Mutani has been named deputy speaker of the Shura Council with the rank of minister.

 

13) Haitham bin Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Aohali has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology at the excellent rank.

 

14) Bandar bin Obaid bin Hamoud Al-Rasheed has been named Secretary to the Crown Prince.

 

15) Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al-Thaqafi was assigned as Advisor to the Head of State Security with excellent rank.
