SRMG’s Chairman Prince Badr bin Farhan resigns

Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud has resigned today from his position as chairman of the Saudi Research and Marketing Group’s (SRMG).

 

Earlier this morning, King Salman issued a royal decree appointing him as the Kingdom’s Minister of Culture.

 

Ghassan A. Al-Shibl was appointed as the new chairman effective today, until the end of the term, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

 

SRMG owns a number of Saudi newspapers and media agencies, including a 51 percent stake in Argaam.
