Saudi Arabia’s housing ministry has collected 45 percent of the white land bills across the four cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Makkah, Okaz newspaper reported.

The ministry addressed the landowners, who were late to pay the fee, with regulatory measures.

On June 8, 2016, Saudi Arabia started applying the vacant land fees across the four cities, Argaam previously reported.

Around 1,548 bills were issued in the first phase, for a total area of 411.5 million square meters in the four cities.
