Shams’ shareholders appoint auditing committee

Tourism Enterprise Co.’s (Shams) ordinary general assembly has approved on Sunday the formation, tasks and remuneration of the auditing committee for the new term that starts immediately and ends on May, 27, 2021, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

Members of the auditing committee include deputy-chairman Hisham Ahmed Abou Al Ela and board members Badr Khalaf Al Ramali Al Shammri and Nasser S. Al Saree.

The shareholders also approved appointing the Saudi Group for Accounting & Auditing Co. (AlJasser & ElDekheil Accountants) as external auditors for 2018’s quarterly and annual financial statements as well as Q1 2019.

During the meeting, the shareholders also approved the updated governance regulations.
