Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council on Monday approved amendments made to the 23-article anti-bribery law.
The new changes focus on protecting public institutions from corruption and upholding standards of integrity and transparency, the council said.
Objectives also include observing the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which was endorsed by Saudi Arabia, in addition to increasing the efficiency of administrative bodies and activating economic and social development programs.
