GASTAT to launch consumer trust index soon, says president

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) plans to launch the consumer trust index soon, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing Fahad Altekhaifi, GASTAT’s President.

 

The index is in a trial phase now and it will be launched soon. The date is yet to be determined, he said.

 

The consumer trust index relies on surveys to monitor consumer opinions on a certain decision, aside from figures, he added.
