Saudi Air Defense destroyed a ballistic missile on Tuesday launched by Houthi militia from Yemen towards southwestern Jizan region, Reuters reported, citing state media.
The news agency added that Houthi-run al-Masirah TV said that Jizan Economic City was targeted by a Badr 1 missile, where state-run Aramco is building a 400,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) refinery.
No damage or casualties were reported as a result of the attack.
Last month, Saudi Air Defense destroyed a ballistic missile launched by Houthi militia from Yemen towards the city of Yanbu. The spokesman for the Arab coalition in Yemen, Colonel Turki al-Malki, said the missile was aimed at civilian and populated areas
