11/07/2018 Argaam

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) has launched the second version of its cyber security training program Secure 18, to prepare national cadres for taking cyber security positions in the finance sector, as well as other sectors.

The 26-week program will be held in both Saudi Arabia and the United States, through which the trainees will attend seminars and meetings, and get scientific and practical training conducted by international experts from mega cyber security firms such as Chiron, PGI and SecureNinja.

SAMA calls on computer science and information technology graduates from both genders to apply for joining the program through its website, as 26 applicants will be chosen for a full-tuition covered by SAMA.

On Jan. 21, SAMA celebrated the graduation of 19 male and female trainees who completed the program’s previous version Secure 17.
