9 things to consider as Tadawul starts trading

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) Saudi Cable Co. (SCC) has signed an agreement to sell its wholly owned subsidiary in Turkey Demirer Kablo to China’s Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology Co. (ZTT) for SAR 250 million.

 

2) Samba Capital, the financial advisor and lead manager of Leejam Sport Co.’s initial public offering (IPO), has started yesterday the institutional book-building process that is scheduled to end on July 24.

 

3) Mulkia Gulf Real Estate REIT Fund will pay a 1.7 percent cash dividend for the second quarter of 2018, at SAR 0.17 per unit, amounting to SAR 10.2 million, the fund manager said in a statement.

 

4) Taleem REIT Fund will pay a 1.6 percent cash dividend for the second quarter of 2018, at SAR 0.16 per unit, amounting to SAR 4.56 million, Saudi Fransi Capital, the fund manager, said in a statement.

 

5) Saudi Arabia’s inflation rate is likely to see a slight rise in month of June, which partly coincided with Ramadan holidays, MEFIC Capital said in its monthly macroeconomic view on the country.

 

6) King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) aims to attract 300 industrial and service investments and create thousands of job opportunity to Saudis, Mohammed Al-Assaf, Saudi Aramco’s vice-president for new business development, told Al Ekhbariya TV channel.

 

7) The upcoming King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) is set to boost demand for commercial properties in the Dammam Metropolitan Area (DMA), consultancy firm JLL said in a new report.

 

8) Apartment and villa rents in Jeddah declined 8.3 percent and 5.6 percent year-on-year (YoY) respectively in Q2 2018, real estate consultancy JLL said in a report.

 

9) Mashroat, the Saudi national program that supervises project implementation in government entities, is planning to conduct a comprehensive restructuring of the project management functions in public entities, Director General Ahmed Albalawi told Okaz newspaper.
