Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds increased by nearly SAR 2.63 billion month-on-month to approximately SAR 284.3 billion in June, new data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.
Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds jumped by around SAR 29.9 billion in H1 2018.
Meanwhile, SAMA’s foreign assets fell SAR 9.2 billion in June to SAR 1.94 trillion.
