Saudi Aramco will resume its oil shipments through Bab El-Mandeb Strait with immediate effect, it said in a statement today.
The state-owned oil giant will continue to monitor the situation and will take all measures to constantly ensure the reliability of supply to its customers through its wide network which has the flexibility to export oil through multiple ports, it said.
The firm vowed to take all necessary actions to safeguard people, assets and the environment while continuing to supply energy to its customers.
Saudi Arabia on July 26 said it is temporarily halting all oil shipments through Bab El-Mandeb Strait with immediate effect following an attack by Yemeni Houthi rebels on two of its large crude carriers, Argaam previously reported.
