Wafrah postpones general assembly meeting, disclosing H1 financial results

Wafrah for Industry & Development Co. (Wafrah) was forced to postpone its general assembly meeting on Aug. 2 due to a lack of quorum, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The firm will announce a new date for the meeting at a later date after obtaining the regulatory approvals, it added.

 

In a separate statement, Wafrah said that it will not be able to reveal its financial results for the period ending on June 30 in time, as shareholders couldn’t choose an external auditor in their June 28meeting, in addition to the postponement of Aug. 2 meeting.

 

The firm expects to disclose its financial results after holding the second general assembly meeting and choosing an external auditor, it added.
