Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) will suspended flights to and from Toronto from Aug.13, it said in a statement.
The Kingdom's national airline added it was taking efforts to find solutions for booked passengers and would accept any cancelled tickets without cancellation charges.
The suspension comes after Saudi Arabia said on Monday it will freeze all new trade and investment with Canada over its interference in the Kingdom’s internal affairs.
Later on Monday, the Ministry of Education said in a tweet that it was working on an urgent plan to facilitate the transfer of the scholars in Canada to other countries.
