Saudi air force intercepts missile fired from Yemen

The Saudi Air Defense Force intercepted a ballistic missile fired by Iran-backed Houthi rebels towards the city of Najran on Monday evening, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The missile was intercepted by the Saudi Air Force, with no damage reported, said Col Turki Al Malki, the spokesman for the Arab coalition, said.

 

The missile was deliberately targeting civilian and populated areas, he added.
