ADNOC Distribution, the fuel and retail arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), is planning to open new service stations in Saudi Arabia and Dubai by the fourth quarter of 2018, The National reported, citing company deputy chief executive John Carey.

The company, which secured a trade license to operate in the Kingdom this April, is currently in discussions to choose “the right partner” to open more than one service station per year in the Kingdom.

“In Dubai, we’ve said we would look to open three sites this year and we’ve broken ground and have begun construction on all three sites at the moment," Carey added.

The fuel and convenience retailer, listed on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, reported a net profit of AED 581.8 million for Q2 2018.
