Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries stood at $164.9 billion in June, a rise of $2.8 billion month-on-month– the highest level since July 2015, new data released by the US Treasury showed.
Thus, the Kingdom moved up to the 10th place among the largest holders of US debt in June.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) decreased its holding by around $400 million to $59.6 billion in the same period. Kuwait also cut its holding to $42.9 billion by $1 billion.
