Prices of 123 goods and services in Saudi Arabia increased year-on-year (YoY) in July, while prices of 36 commodities declined, official data issued by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.
Out of the total of 88 food products, prices of 19 items declined YoY for the month, while prices of other 68 products increased.
Chinese garlic saw the biggest drop at 30 percent YoY, while prices of Lurpak butter jumped the most by 28 percent YoY.
