King Hamad Causeway considers inviting bidders for Saudi-Bahrain bridge before 2018-end

King Hamad Causeway’s supervising committee is considering asking Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA) to launch a tender for the Saudi-Bahrain bridge project before the end of 2018, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

 

Bids on the causeway between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain will then be assessed and awarded, and a consortium of consulting firms will be appointed during H1 2019.  

 

The discussions for the bridge came during the latest Saudi-Bahraini ministerial meeting in Manama.
