Riyadh’s ‘smart city’ transformation program reaches 15%

Riyadh’s smart transformation is 15 percent finished, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs.

 

Concurrent with establishing a control center for managing Jeddah’s smart operations, the city’s transformation has reached 10 percent, it said.

 

Since the launching of Madinaty 2018 program, the ministry has started the smart transformation of Jeddah, Maddinah, Dammam, Makkah and Riyadh by adopting the internet of things (IoT) technologies, it added.
