Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance’s (Bupa Arabia) board of directors approved today the resignation of non-executive board member Amer Abdullah Ali Reda, representative of Nazer Holding Company, effective from Sept. 30.

Reda has submitted his resignation on July 24, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul.

The board appointed US-based Martin Houston as a non-executive board member, representing Bupa Investment Overseas Ltd. as of Oct. 1, 2018.

The move comes as main shareholders wish to change their representatives to Bupa Arabia’s board, it said.
