Oil market safe despite trade tensions, Iran sanctions: Al-Falih

The oil market’s situation is safe despite the planned sanctions against Iran and the escalated trade war between the United States and China, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources.

 

Al-Falih pointed out that Saudi Arabia was taking strong and fast steps towards diversifying energy sources and increasing investments in nuclear power and other renewable sources of energy.

 

He said during his keynote speech at the annual 62nd General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), held in Vienna.
