Al Rajhi Bank, SABIC remain TASI heavyweights in Q3

Al Rajhi Bank was ranked the largest weighted stock on the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) for the sixteenth consecutive quarter in Q3 2018, data compiled by Argaam showed.

 

The blue chip lender’s weighting on the index rose to 15.13 percent in Q3, up from 14.33 percent in the previous quarter.

 

Petrochemical giant Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) came in second at 9.68 percent, followed by National Commercial Bank (NCB) at 5.83 percent.

 

Several companies changed ranks in Q3 compared to the previous quarter, as Maaden’s stock retreated to the 10th place and Jarir moved down to the 16th rank, while Kayan’s share advanced to the 12th position.

 

Almarai exited the top ranks, while SAFCO made an entrance.

Saudi Fisheries Co.’s stock led the top gainers on free shares in Q3 by 21.50 percent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), followed by eXtra at 16.10 percent QoQ.
