Expat remittances from Saudi Arabia drop 17% in August

Remittance outflows by expatriates in Saudi Arabia fell by 17 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 10.43 billion in August, data issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.

 

Compared to July, expat remittances also dropped by 14 percent, or around SAR 1.75 billion.
