Almarai board gives nod to set up risk committee

Saudi Arabia's top dairy producer Almarai Co.'s board of directors have approved the establishment of a risk committee to strengthen its governance, it said in a statement to Tadawul on Monday.

Bader bin Abdullah Al Issa, a non-executive member of the board, has been named the chairman of the risk committee. He will be assisted in his task by Vanessa Eastham Fisk and Jason Day.

The designation of the risk committee is effective from the date of the board resolution, the statement added.
