Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education has decided to nationalize all administrative and supervisory jobs in the private education sector, comprising private and foreign schools, according to a statement on the Saudi Press Agency on Wednesday.
The targeted jobs include school headmasters, deputy headmasters, supervisors, school activity coordinators, administrative posts and any other jobs that can be Saudized.
New monitoring teams will be formed to ensure school compliance with the new decision and reports will be submitted on achieving Saudization ratio in the sector by the end of the current academic year, said education minister Ahmed Al-Issa.
