Emerson hosted the Emerson Technology Conference & Exhibition at its newly-inaugurated Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV) in Saudi Arabia.

The facility in DTV, representing Emerson's investment of $25 million, adds research and development capabilities and provides delivery and services support to the oil and gas, mining, and other process industries in Saudi Arabia.

This first-of-its kind exhibition in the region was designed to help customers achieve Top Quartile performance in the areas of safety, reliability, production, and energy management.

The exhibition focused on helping attendees in improving their businesses across a wide range of functions, including capital projects, plant operations around energy usage, process control, safety systems, rotating machinery, combustion and steam, asset reliability, and lifecycle services.

The event showcased strategies towards implementing digital transformation by harnessing the capabilities of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

It also provided a platform to network, identify, design, and plan the adoption of these technological advancements.

All these innovations are designed to help address key challenges around company operations, ultimately driving towards efficiencies and growth in corporate performance metrics such as operational profitability and return of investment around capital projects.
