Al Jouf, Sanad ink deal to export cement, clinker to Palestine

Al Jouf Cement Co. on Oct. 16 signed an agreement with Palestine-based Sanad Trading and Marketing to export 50,000 tons of cement and clinker annually.

The related financial impact is likely to show in mid-Q4 2018, Al-Jouf said in a bourse statement on Wednesday.

Sanad is the largest distributor of cement in Palestine, and meets approximately 65 percent of the needs of the Palestinian market. 

Last August, the Saudi cement producer inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sanad for cement and clinker exports, Argaam reported.
