8 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) The second edition of the much-anticipated Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference kicks off in Riyadh today, and will run from Oct. 23-25. The event aims to drive discussion, and partnerships among world leaders in business, government, and society.

 

2) Jadwa REIT will pay a 1.80 percent cash dividend for Q3 2018 (SAR 0.18 per unit), amounting to SAR 28.4 million, fund manager Jadwa Investment said in a bourse statement.

 

3) Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) has awarded Daelim Industrial Co Ltd and Daelim Saudi Arabia Company Limited a SAR 3.35 billion worth of contract to construct a 1.1 million tpa ammonia plant at Ras al-Khair.

 

4)  Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 104 million in the first half of the year, a drop of 31.7 percent year-on-year (YoY).

 

5)  Northern Region Cement Co. has inked a marketing contract with Al Rashed Cement Co. at market price, the Saudi cement producer said in a bourse filing.

 

6)  Bank Albilad reported a net profit of SAR 819 million in the first nine months of 2018, an increase of 14.4 percent year-on-year (YoY), thanks to a 4.5 percent rise in operating income.

 

7)  Shares of Saudi Industrial Export Co. (SIECO) hit their highest level in 52 weeks on Monday, data compiled by Argaam showed.


8) The National Company for Learning and Education’s (NCLE) initial public offering (IPO) started Oct.22 and will run for seven days until Oct. 28.
