Future Investment Initiative 2018 kicks off in Riyadh

The Future Investment Initiative (FII) 2018 has started in Riyadh today, under the patronage of His Highness King Salman bin Abdulaziz and HH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The three-day, high-profile event, organized by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), aims to explore and develop new opportunities that would shape the future of investment in the world.

This year’s edition features 120 speakers representing over 140 organizations.

In partnership with 17 international institutions, the event this year will shed light on the role of investment in promoting growth, innovation and facing world challenges.

FII will have more than 40 sessions, open forums and workshops.

Global businessmen and renowned investors will address three main themes:

1) Investing in Transformation: The world’s top investors are creating new cities and transforming economies.

2) Technology as Opportunity: Technologies are now enabling new economic opportunities through personalization and industrialization at scale.

3) Advancing Human Potential: A world where humans and machines work together to create safer, happier and more productive lives.

The conference comes in-line with Vision 2030 objectives that focus on utilizing the giant investment opportunities the Kingdom has.
