Pulling out of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) 2018 in Riyadh last week by corporate heavyweights accomplished "nothing" and was largely symbolic, Bloomberg reported, citing the chief executive officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

“We couldn’t be seen to be in any way condoning that behavior. Still, business relationships with the nation will continue,” Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co, said on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Dimon was among the first banking executives to pull out of FII, Bloomberg report said.
