1) Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority has approved Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co.’s request to increase capital through a SAR 200 million rights issue.
2) Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries & Medical Appliances Corp. (SPIMACO) will move to its administrative tower in Riyadh by Q1 2019.
3) Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) approved a request by Saudi Company for Hardware (SACO) to increase capital to SAR 360 million, from SAR 240 million, through the issue of one bonus shares for every two shares held.
4) Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Co.’s shareholders are set to vote on a 50 percent capital hike to SAR 1.2 billion from SAR 800 million, on Nov. 22, 2018.
5) Najran Cement Co. has called off a meeting of sukuk holders meeting to amend some commercial terms as per the sukuk holders’ request.
6) Demand for jewelry rose seven percent year-on-year in Saudi Arabia during the third quarter of 2018, according to the World Gold Council.
