DHL launches new service in Saudi Arabia

Logistics firm DHL Express Saudi Arabia has launched a new service that enables customers to receive shipments from the USA in only 48 hours from the time of dispatch, the company said in a statement.

 

Previously, the transit time from the US took a longer period as packages would land in Bahrain and then be shipped onwards to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Now, following an agreement with the US team, DHL is able to land these planes in Jeddah, resulting in a substantial decrease in the transit time, the statement added.
