The Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Foundation (MISK) has unveiled the Entrepreneurship World Cup competition, as part of its initiatives to develop skills of the world’s largest group of entrepreneurs.
The new competition is launched in partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), MISK said in a statement.
The first-of-its-kind initiative targets more than 100,000 start-ups every year.
A special plan was tailored to increase interest in entrepreneurship among youth and fast track start-ups’ growth, MISK added.
Young entrepreneurs from 100 countries are competing under the initiative.
“In 2019, participants will be offered programs to fast track various education and training opportunities. They will also take part in local competitions that will be simultaneously organized in all countries to select 100 winners,” the statement said.
Those winners will be unveiled in MISK Global Forum 2019, MISK added.
The third edition of the MISK Global Forum 2018 kicked off on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Four Seasons Hotel, Riyadh, Argaam reported.
