L’Azurde names new audit committee chairwoman, member

L’Azurde For Jewelry Co.'s board of directors on Tuesday named Sabah Ibrahim as an acting audit committee chairwoman, the jewelry maker said in a bourse filing.

Ibrahim will be also in charge of the accounting as well as the financial affairs.

The board also approved the appointment of Sunil Bhilotra as a temporary audit committee member, effective as of Dec. 11, 2018.

Sunil Bhilotra joined Investcorp in 2009 from Barclays Capital where he was a Director in the Sponsor and Leveraged Finance team. Prior to that, he worked with Credit Suisse's Financial Sponsors Group and Investment Banking team.

These appointments are pending the approval of the coming general meeting, the statement added.

During the meeting, the board approved the resignation submitted by Rabih Michel Khouri, the non-executive board member and the audit committee chairman.
