The Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) on Wednesday granted investment licenses to ArabNet, a leading events, media and research company focused on digital business and entrepreneurship in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The license was received by the company at ArabNet Riyadh conference, being held on Dec. 12-13, SAGIA said in a statement.
The event, which witnesses participation from 150 start-ups, explores investment opportunities in promising sectors across the Kingdom.
It is also attended by 50 investors in venture funds with over $1 billion in capital, the statement added.
