The Ministry of Housing launched a new affordable housing project, Rawabi Al-Hijaz, in Jeddah under the Sakani program, it said in a statement on Sunday.
The project offers 21,302 residential units, currently under construction, as one of the biggest public-private partnerships (PPP) projects.
Prices for the units start from SAR 477,000 for areas ranging from 162 square metres to 233 square meters, with monthly installments from SAR 1,593.
The project is part of the second phase of the Sakani program, which allocated over 282,000 housing and financing products in its first year, and aims for 300,000 products in 2018.
