Alpha Capital Co. has recently completed the private placement of Alpha’s Food and Beverage Fund, a Sharia-compliant private equity closed-ended fund, the company said in a statement.

The fund seeks to deliver a long-term return profile, through undertaking investments in food and beverage companies.

Alpha’s Food and Beverage Fund is the third fund launched by the company in 2018.

Alpha Capital also launched Alpha’s Saudi Equity Fund and Alpha’s Murabaha Fund via initial public offerings (IPOs) last year.

"Such an achievement echoes the Kingdom's solid economic position and the existing attractive investment opportunities, in line with Saudi Vision 2030," stated Alpha Capital's Chairman Mohammed Bin Dawood.  It also came in line with the company's optimized corporate governance model and transparency practices, in compliance with the best global standards, he added.

Vice Chairman Saleh Bin Sulaiman Al Rasheed also indicated that the company has a Sharia-compliant portfolio, together with a highly-qualified team with an extensive experience and a strong track-record of achievements.

“Having a talented team with diverse expertise in several business fields including private equity, advisory, asset management, and real estate properties helped creating a favourable work environment," stated Alpha Capital’s Managing Director and CEO Fahad Alsaud.

The company is keen on exploring all investment opportunities to choose the projects that will add value to the company's clients, he noted.

Alpha Capital is a Saudi-based investment company headquartered in Riyadh. In January 2018, it was licensed by the Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) to manage investment funds and discretionary portfolios, in addition to arranging and advising activities in the securities business.
