Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, expects to install five electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Saudi Arabia in 2019, El- Eqtisadiah newspaper has reported, citing Najib Al-Naim, KSA country president.
“The company received a number of requests in Q4 2018 to install the EVs’ charging stations in commercial as well as residential projects,” Al-Naim added.
These projects, both energy-saving and environment-friendly, will be fulfilling the EVs’ technical specifications by mid-2019, he noted.
In October 2018, Schneider Electric installed the first electric vehicle (EV) charging station in Diyar Al Salam project in Jeddah, Argaam reported.
