King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA) has received an adequate number of bids from local and foreign firms to provide advisory services for the transitional phase of King Hamad Causeway project, acting director general Emad Al-Muhaisen, told Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper on Sunday.
“More offers are expected within the next few days,” Al-Muhaisen said, underlining the commitment to the project schedule.
Technical and financial offers will be studied later on ahead of selecting the best bidder, he added.
In October 2018, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport and Bahraini Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication announced that they would issue a tender for advisory services consultancies, Argaam reported.
The project is estimated to cost around $3 billion and construction works will take 36-48 months.
