Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce and Investment has submitted an integrated program for combating commercial concealment to competent authorities, Deputy Minister of Commerce, Abdul Salam Al-Manei, told Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper on Tuesday.
The ministry is setting the priorities of the National Program for Combating the Commercial Concealment’s executive plan.
It is also reconsidering the applicable law, implementation of technical solutions, and development of store specifications.
“When the program is launched, it will help reduce the phenomenon of commercial cover-up,” Al-Manei said.
The National Program for Combating the Commercial Concealment is one of the Trade and Investment Combination initiatives under the National Transformation Program 2020, Argaam earlier reported.
It aims to eliminate commercial cover-up, a reason for raising the level of unemployment and for spreading the commercial fraud.
