Samba Financial Group’s general assembly, on Sunday, elected board members for the new three-year term starting Jan. 20, 2019, the bank said in a bourse statement.
The new board includes Ali Hussein Reda, Fahad Ibrahim Al-Mufraj, Ibrahim Saad Al-Mojil, Iyad Abdulrahman Al-Hussein, Khaled Abdullah Al-Swailem, Ali Hadi Al-Mansour, Waleed Sukeiman Abanmi, Yazeed Abdulrahman Al-Hamid, Abdullah Abdulrahman Al-Ruwais and Ammar Abdulwahid Al-Khudairi.
During the meeting, shareholders have also approved the formation of the audit committee for the new term.
The newly elected board of directors has named Ammar Abdulwahid Al-Khudairi as board chairman for the new three-year term started Jan. 20, 2019 after obtaining the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority’s (SAMA) approval, the bank said in a separate statement.
They have also named Yazeed Abdulrahman Al-Hamid as deputy chairman for the same term, the statement added.
