Saudi Steel Pipe Co.’s (SSP) board of directors today appointed Ahmad Mubarak Al Dabasi as the chairman of the board, the company said in a bourse filing.
The company also named Carlos Andres as the new vice chairman of the board, the statement added.
Additionally, Mariano Armengol was appointed as the new chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director of the company.
This came after the company’s board dismissed CEO Mohammed Abdulaziz Al Shaheen, effective as of Jan. 21, 2019.
The company announced yesterday the resignation of Riyadh Al Rabiah, the chairman of the board of directors, in addition to some board members, after Tenaris KSA acquired a 47.79 percent stake in SSP, Argaam reported.
