Saudi Arabia launched today a national industrial development program, namely NIDLP, with aim to develop national industries and services in line with Vision 2030.
The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) will bring together 30 government entities and align the four sectors -- mining, industrialization, energy and logistics services -- to offer integrated services to investors, said Abdulaziz Al-Abdulkarim, Deputy Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources for Industry.
“The 30 entities will support us to make sure we accelerate the development of the industry,” Al-Abdulkarim said during a panel discussion at the NIDLP launch ceremony.

“The national industrial strategy is a road map that will boost the growth of the industry in Saudi Arabia leveraging on the huge local and regional demand. Three clusters are seen to drive that growth; pharma, building materials and machinery,” he further continued.
“The main thing we are developing here is those business opportunities; we have worked very hard to create more than 40 such opportunities in the industries,” Al-Abdulkarim added.
