Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) will sign several deals, including a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Boeing to develop the industry of aluminum used in airplane manufacturing, Khaled Alohali, Maaden’s vice president for Corporate Strategic Affairs, told Al-Ekhbariya channel.
Maaden will also sign an agreement with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) to develop manufacturing industries of aluminum and phosphate at Ras Al-Khair and Waad Al-Shamaal industrial cities, he mentioned on the sidelines of the of the launch ceremony of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP).
A deal will be signed with a major Chinese company, in partnership with other Saudi firms, to develop manufacturing industries from phosphate, he noted.
Maaden is also expected to ink a manufacturing development deal with Riyadh-based Dussur, he added.
