Many foreign companies and investors are communicating with Standard and Poor’s Saudi Arabia, wanting to invest in the Kingdom, Al-Eqtisadiah reported, citing Meshari Al-Khaled, Managing Director of S&P Saudi Arabia.
S&P has been receiving inquiries from international investors on the Kingdom’s economic situation and investment environment, he said.
Out of all the Tadawul-listed companies, 15 percent of the firms are rated by S&P, of which 80 percent are banks and insurance firms, he said.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has four licensed rating firms, he added.
